  Can't seem to make non-glitching ramps anymore, with no apparent reason

Hey guys,

so after 3 years I decided to come back to surf mapping, try and make something.
The thing is, since I came back my ramps always glitch for no reason. I tried every method, the vertex one, alt drag (which is the one i used for all my maps and it worked fine), but the ramps always end up sticking if you surf it at the bottom.

The catch is that 2 of  my ramps i made using the same methods as all the others work, and don't stick when i surf them at the very bottom.
I am utterly confused by this and its very frustrating to not be able to make a decent ramp anymore when you have in the past made very satisfying and smooth surf ramps..

I already checked in questions and tutorials, so please don't tell me to go there..

I've tried different size of ramps and different rotation degrees, without any success.

This is a staged collab-map started by me. I am currently working on it, with the help from Juxtapo, tioga and sangre (?). If anyone wants to pitch in and create a stage; do feel free to message me about it on steam. If you don't see me online, feel free to leave an offline message, and I'll get back to you once I've seen it.

The theme is scifi, but I don't mean to force a specific scifi theme upon those who want to contribute. For example, my stage will be a fallout-esque inspired run-down theme. Whilst I think Tioga is making a high tech space theme. Furthermore I would prefer shorter stages in this, because I'm sick of all the maps nowadays that have 6-7 "short-linears" in them. I prefer the days where maps like legendary were in style. A short-ish stage where each stage has a unique defining characteristic. A certain special obstacle, or whatever it may be.

I would be the main coordinator for the project, meaning all stages will be sent to me and I'd put them all together. I would love for new mappers, old statesmen of the surf or whomever you may be to take part. There is no real timeframe for the project as of now, because it's something I don't want to rush; and I'm not in a position where I can spend a lot of time mapping each day. So if you feel like you can contribute, and you want to; don't say no because you don't have the time. Feel free to create something in your own time, and submit it whenever it is worth a playtest, and we could take it from there.

Okay, so we're doing surf_barnyard. It should have a similar feel to the LEGENDARY surf_fruits, and stuff.......

As of now, there's really no date of finish, but as limits fill up, I'll set a date with at least a two week warning.

We're looking for tier 1 - 3 stages that are no more than 15 seconds. Neither Phurix nor I will be detailing stages. Detailing is up to you, and I'm not going to spam shitty decals around your stage, you can do that yourself if you please. Your stage shouldn't exceed 10%, and if it does, model some shit.

As for skybox, we'll be using the lovely mpa115 (http://gamebanana.com/textures/2381), the light_environment will be http://puu.sh/pg3cb/f3fd4321ec.png with a brightness of 255/255/255/200. The light environment may undergo tweaks, but it won't be a huge difference from what it is now. You should be using TF2 textures as much as possible to help create that barn feel. TF2 wood is great for this theme, use it! Please leave room for a NEXT/END sign, and use cs_italy/black for the endings of your stage (of course, as per tradition).

These are in no particular order, and we'll order them in terms of difficulty as they get made. You can choose an animal commonly found on a farm/barnyard, there's at least 20, and I don't mind if you choose an alternate gender of the same animal (eg, goat & ram). First come, first serve.

Mouse - Syncronyze; Incomplete.
Duck - Phurix; Incomplete.
Cat - Doink Face; Incomplete.
Dog - Juxtapo; Incomplete.
Chicken - Arblarg; Incomplete.
Pig - iamsupaman; Incomplete.

You can contact Phurix or me at any point for any questions, but we're not going to be mapping your stage for you, or holding your hand. Juxtapo has agreed to let us use his test server, so we'll be testing stages there. (This means when you think you have a completed stage, or want to receive feedback on it, make sure you come to Juxtapo, Phurix or me with your paked BSP!)

Once deemed good enough by yourself and us, Phurix and I will be doing only minor tweaks to your stage. This means you must submit your best and optimized work! There is zero excuse for  sloppy, off center, off grid and lack of optimization within your stage!
